REGISTERED NURSE $5000 BONUS FULL TIME NIGHT RN – ZACHARY, LA

We are hiring Full-Time Registered Nurses (RN), with experience in ICU/Telemetry experience, med-surg, or acute care experience preferred. Registered Nurses are needed for Shifts based on hospital needs and will be responsible for direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting. Ability to communicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. HOSPITAL HOUSEKEEPER & DIETARY AIDE PRN – ZACHARY, LA

AMG Specialty Hospital – Zachary is hiring a PRN Housekeeper and Dietary Aide to perform assigned duties under the direct supervision of the Chief Clinical Officer in a Hospital setting. As Housekeeper, you are responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the facility while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations in conjunction with the directives of the Housekeeping supervisor. Perform all duties in the scope of housekeeping willingly and within a satisfactory time frame. As Dietary Aide, you are responsible for preparing patient and guest trays in compliance with dietary specifications prudent to all diets. Assures patients receive proper diets as ordered.  Communicates with the Registered Dietician on a regular basis to ensure trays are delivered at appropriate times with the appropriate diets. Cleans and sanitizes utensils, equipment, and station after each mealtime and as required, and performs cleaning duties within their area. This position is a dual role position and is PRN, which means “as needed”.

UNIT SECRETARY/MONITOR TECH, MUST HAVE CNA CERTIFICATION FULL TIME NIGHTS – ZACHARY, LA

AMG Specialty Hospital - Zachary seeks a Full-Time Night Unit Secretary/Monitor Tech who must have C.N.A. certification. This employee will assist patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.Accurately interprets cardiac rhythm strips every 4 hours including rate, rhythm, PR interval, QRS, QT, signature and title.  Immediately reports changes in patient’s rhythm to Primary Care Nurse.  Posts copy of rhythm change in patients record.  Documents arrhythmias and/or change in cardiac rhythm on report sheet and gives complete/accurate report to oncoming technician.  Properly operates monitor system.  Properly operates speaker system and phone system.  Continuously runs a strip during a code blue.  Properly completes emergency calls for staff.  Tracks monitored patients at all times.  Keeps charts prepped with labeled rhythm strips.  Maintains nutritional supplies.  Counts prior to ordering and maintains pre-set par limits.  Keep patient label book up to date.  Places completed rhythm sheets in patient charts. Provides indirect patient care in the medical surgical setting.  Meets the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff.  Prepares and compiles records in the Medical Surgical Unit.  Initiates directions from physician and nursing staff.  Participates in performance improvement activities.  Maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies and procedures and standards.  Performs other duties as needed or directed by supervisor.
